Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do—whether it’s crafting compelling grant proposals, advocating for military-affiliated communities, or helping nonprofits secure the funding they need to change lives.

As a Grant Specialist and Advocate for VetJobs and Military Spouse Jobs, I navigate the complex world of funding, turning ideas into well-crafted proposals that open doors to opportunity. I’ve secured grants from private, corporate, and government sources, including a $500,000 federal VA grant, paving the way for critical veteran support programs. Beyond grant writing, I collaborate on fundraising strategies and nonprofit development to help mission-driven organizations thrive.

I hold two associate degrees—one in hospitality management and another in accounting technology—a bachelor’s degree in supervision and management, and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management. Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s degree in nonprofit management at the University of Central Florida, deepening my expertise in nonprofit sustainability and strategic funding.

Driven by a passion for military families, mental health, housing, and social justice, I volunteer my time helping military-affiliated women navigate trauma and mental health challenges. I’m also a proud member of Women United and the Women’s Giving Alliance, working to empower women and families in need.

Born in New York but a Florida resident for nearly 40 years, I’ve lived the unpredictable life of a military spouse—calling Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa, Hawaii, and Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas home while my husband served two deployments to Iraq. These experiences shaped my dedication to advocacy and community impact.

When I’m not writing or strategizing, you can find me soaking up the Florida sun, dancing at concerts, wandering through Disney, or singing along to Taylor Swift—because every great story needs a soundtrack.
